It seems just like yesterday that we learned about the (then) new video service, Hulu. Since it's launch less than a year ago, viewership of shows hosted by the site has mushroomed.
According to Betsy Schiffman of Wired Magazine, Hulu was the 6th most watched video site last month, with more than 142 million streams.
Hulu came in ahead of ESPN (128 million streams), CNN (118 million streams) and MTV Networks (97 million streams), according to Nielsen Online's VideoCensus.
With technologies developing that will make viewing online sites like Hulu, NetFlix streaming video, CNN, and Apple related online media more accessible on the our television sets, it's clear that companies that develop and promote web-to-tv services will enjoy expansive growth in months and years to come.
Be sure to check out the HuluWeen HorrorExpress which features a range of Halloween themed content from the campy to the crazy scary.
